WOMEN’S ELEVATED MIDLIFE

We are creating a midlife women’s fitness and wellness program at Life Time to empower women 40+ navigating perimenopause and menopause. This season of our lives brings unique challenges including muscle loss, fat gain (especially abdominal), decreased bone density, hormonal symptoms (hot flashes, mood swings, sleep issues), metabolic slowdown, and psychosocial stressors like anxiety and reduced social support.

UPLIFT offers a science-backed, holistic approach combining:

• Fitness Programming : Heavy resistance training (3x/week) for muscle and bone health, HIIT (1-2x/week) for fat loss and cardiovascular benefits, plus mobility and recovery sessions (yoga/Pilates).

• Wellness: Nutrition education focused on hormone-supportive foods, mindset and self-care workshops to build confidence and reduce stress, and pelvic floor exercises to address common midlife concerns.

• Community: Peer support groups and expert guidance to foster accountability and emotional well-being.

KICK OFF EVENT :

• When: Saturday morning, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM  (optimal for energy and fat metabolism)

• Welcome and keynote by founders Shelly and Breanna

• Interactive workshops on “Understanding Your Changing Body” and hormone-friendly nutrition

• Mini strength training and HIIT demo sessions

• Mindful movement (yoga or Pilates)

• Networking over a healthy brunch featuring avocado toast, salmon bites, fresh fruit, and herbal teas

• Giveaways like fitness trackers, tumblers, and wellness books

• Goal: Educate, inspire community, and encourage commitment

PROGRAM :

• Weekly group workouts: GloUp class includes 2 Strength, 2 HIIT, and 1 mobility/recovery circuit

• Monthly workshops on nutrition, mindset, and hormone health

• Private online community for ongoing support

• Progress tracking to celebrate muscle growth and fat loss

• Flexible in-person and virtual options
